It May Not Be Prague, But It's Good Enough For the Likes of Us

Yesterday was the perfect day--and today is even better! It is sunny and clear, and just enough wind to knock off the last of the leaves and acorns from the oak trees. Frederick and I went to For-Mar and he took me on a VERY LONG walk. We also had to run up and down the creek walls every chance there was so that we could bounce on the rotting, collapsed trees. Climbing back up to get to the main path was slippery work because the oak leaves are thick and dry. I said something to the effect that the ground is a "secret" because of the thick leaf blanket so it is difficult to see if you are stepping on solid ground or not. Frederick found that use of "secret" very amusing; the phrase "secret ground" was repeated OFTEN. Can you spot the shy woodland creature?
