No longer in our neighbor's yard or on top of the garage, the fallen tree is now (in a lot of big pieces) in our garage--right where I should be able to park my car.
So, phase 2: chainsawing all those branches into smaller lumps.

Astonishingly, all this is just from a part of one small branch of a medium sized oak tree. We have a much, much larger oak tree in our yard with many dead and near-dead branches. Can anyone say, "Under the sword of Damacles?"
