The Coop Goes On

Despite the blazing heat I bravely soldier on and continue work on the coop. Here are the nesting boxes (in the maternity wing) and, above that, the gymnasium where the chickens can exercise, socialize and sleep. So, major construction is finally done and all I have to do now is paint inside (tomorrow, all done today). When that is dry, they can move in. I may add a privacy curtain in the main window so foxes and raccoons can't spy on them at night. I can finish up the exterior (cedar shingles, like our house) even after they move.
