It took almost 6 hours (5 stops for potty and snack breaks, and an 80-odd mile stretch behind a double-loaded log truck going 30 mph) but we made it--and oh boy, look at this room! (Note wet swimming suit already hanging to dry.) This is the main room and has a large couch that flods out into a bed, which Frederick claimed that he wanted to sleep on. (He was amazed when I started pulling the couch apart and made it into a bed--I couldn't get him out of it from that point on.)
Here is half the bedroom with the whirpool. Thomas is in it as I speak, swirling the hot water (which pours down from the side like a giant waterfall), waiting for it to fill up enough so he can turn on the jets.
Here is the other half with a fireplace. Too bad it is going to be 80 degrees F all weekend. I think we need to come back during Christmas break to give it a try.
