Another snow day that shouldn't have been

Last night we got an alert saying that all classes on UM-Flint would be canceled before noon today, and furthermore, that all UM-Flint affiliated classes, including not just on High School campuses, but even online(!) would be canceled. They did this because a major snowfall was predicted (at temperatures just around freezing, making it heavy and slushy). But as is almost always the case when they plan ahead, it was a storm in a teacup and it didn't even really start until after my class would have ended. Oh well. Meanwhile, for the first time in ages, Frederick feels well enough to risk a shortish walk. So:
