Apparently getting an MRI is an annual thing now

So, last year I had an MRI and documented it (see here). I got a phone call the other day saying it was time to have another. I'm not really sure why, given that nobody ever saw the DVD they burned of the last one (I was supposed to have an appointment with Dr. Jawad Shah, who we actually know, but who is insanely busy, and after they pushed it back at least once (from 6 months after the MRI to about 8 months), I couldn't find the disk when it came time for the appointment, so just canceled it. Since that time I have FOUND the disk, and now I can put a new one on top of the pile. ANYWAY, it's a painless enough procedure (albeit loud, and a bit chilly, as it's in a shipping container out the back of the building, and it's February) and I get to visit my favorite grocery store - AND I found a new, super-swanky Whole Foods nearby. Bonus: they scheduled it for early on Sunday (hence the sky in the first picture) so the traffic in Detroit was not a nightmare. This was news to the lady working there on Friday - they sent me a text suggesting it was for Saturday, and I called up to confirm it was Sunday, and she said "oh no, we never have appointments on Sunday." Then she double checked and was all apologies. This dry cleaners is the only business between M1 Imaging and Westborn Market and is such a delightful throwback to a lost time that I had to document it. In general, the part of Detroit that this is in (called Berkley) is very quaint, untouched by industrial decay or much gentrification, but sadly beyond our means.
