Rain stopped play

Another hot day, so we head out planning to have our third swim of the year (second was yesterday at Metamora-Hadley).

Nice clouds, we think.

Hmm.  Now those clouds are getting a bit darker...

Okay, that was definitely thunder and lightning.  Better hold off getting into a LARGE BODY OF WATER.

Frederick looks longingly at the swimming that is denied him.

But hey, at least we saw this.  According to a lady I overheard, it's a Trillium, and it's illegal to pick them.
