Used Bookstores of Flint

There is a surprising number:

This is the best one, as Granny and Peter can attest.  It started just a year or so ago: the owner of a law office next to a vacant building was annoyed at the building being used by junkies, so bought it and turned it into a really nice used books/records and coffee shop, with no need to turn a profit, just to make the neighborhood nicer.

This one has a storied history.  But I've never actually been in it.

I drive past both of these on the way to take Frederick to/pick him up from Emily's.  They're both on Richfield Road.  Neither was open on the day I took these.  But it's good to know Amazon hasn't killed the independent bookstore, even if it managed to kill Borders.

Maybe stop by some time? Sounds like a good thing.
