So, the day before yesterday our, I would have said almost brand new (three years old, apparently) water heater started leaking all over the basement floor. We called our favorite plumbers and they came and gave us a new one, which, thanks to rocketing prices, set us back almost two thousand dollars. (My first car cost me $500.) Once again, it was incredibly heavy because of silt building up inside it. As a pure coincidence, they were working on the pipes in our neighborhood not so long ago. Well, this one's insured for six years at least...
