Mince pies

After my huge success with Thanksgiving Pumpkin Pielets, it was time to get Christmassy. I'd planned ahead this year and ordered Vegan Mincemeat (off Etsy, of all places), so, once again with the secret recipe (it's got 4 kinds of flour!) grain free pastry...

First attempt: pastry was a little bit gluey.  So I tried again:

We had guests!  Mixed reactions, it has to be said.  But I love 'em.  Next time I will make the mincemeat, as Etsy charges ridiculous delivery rates...
